Another city in Argentina legally recognize same sex union

This is Rio Cuarto, whose council has unanimously approved the civil union for gays and lesbians. And add four districts that recognize same-sex couples.
The township (town hall) in the city of Rio Cuarto Argentina (600 km west of Buenos Aires) will allow the civil union between persons of the same sex, after the council (parliament) unanimously approved the creation of a registry of living for unmarried couples.
With the new arrangement, members of the couple (whether heterosexual or homosexual) will receive an official certificate of coexistence that will allow them to process a retirement or inclusion in health insurance.
The initiative was presented by the councilor Viviana Yawni of the Socialist Party, and there was also another project of the mayor Enrique Novo, both with the advice of the Comunidad Homosexual Argentina (CHA).
"This is a new achievement in the history of our rights, as well as give us more energy in our work, building a greater consensus for the project of a National Civil Union Law that will CHA in a few months in the House of Representatives of the nation, "said Cesar Cigliutti, president of that organization.
In Argentina there is no gay marriage, but in 2003 the country established the first step of legal recognition to gay couples in Latin America, where the city of Buenos Aires approved the civil union law.
Currently, the province of Black River (south) and the city of Villa Carlos Paz (located in the province of Cordova, like Rio Cuarto) also have records of couples to recognize gays and lesbians. In the province of La Pampa, for its part, has submitted a project in the same direction.
